About Us

Before we were married in November 2012, we spent time researching wedding vendors in Seattle area. We were surprised that there is no such single studio that provides all-in-one package that covers photography, makeup & hair, and bridal dresses. We see this type of studio everywhere in Asian countries, if not overwhelmed. We hardly see any here in the United States. We understand that couples want more choices and do not want to be locked in by any single vendor. We also understand that if one studio does it all, it is much harder to get everything right. However, we believe that if we know what our clients need from culture, preference, and trend perspectives, we can dedicate our time and resources to creating the best services and products that couples desire.

We started our business in Seattle as two brands - Aaron Liu Photography and Nicole Wang Makeup and Hair. We wanted to learn everything about wedding and what typically couples are looking for. We service our clients not only in Seattle but also cities in different states to also build our practices geographically. Having two brands gives us a great opportunity to interact with clients in different markets and as a result, we have grown much faster than we planned and had a really successful experience. However, the drawback of having two brands is that many clients do not know we also provide the other service - no matter it is photography or makeup & hair.

Starting late 2017, we were happy to announce that we created a new co-brand "AN Image Studio". This will provide an even more streamlined experience while every service can still be booked or purchased separately. We hope that this integrated branding will bring more values to our future clients.

Nicole Wang - Chief Makeup Artist

Back in 2012 when she was getting married she had a hard time finding a makeup artist she liked in Seattle area. She quickly realized that there are unique and important characteristics on Asian skin tone, eyes, nose, makeup style trends, and even wedding itself.

She started to explore the art of makeup and hair and has been helping friends with their engagement photoshoot and wedding day before she officially began her business in Seattle. She received intensive training from one of the best known and highly regarded makeup artists in Taiwan. In addition, she understands Asian wedding culture, styles, and makeup trends really well.
